Job Summary:A two-year postdoctoral fellowship opportunity is available at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. This is a unique position that will help to integrate work across the Dissemination and Implementation Science Program and the Colorado Program for Patient Centered Decisions (CPPCD) which are part of the Adult & Child Consortium for Health Outcomes Research & Delivery Science (ACCORDS). The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of established researchers focused on shared decision making, patient centered care, and implementation science and pragmatic research. The candidate will be an integral part of a new initiative to conduct and support research that is rapid, rigorous and relevant to patients and a variety of diverse clinical settings.The postdoctoral position provides advanced training to health services researchers and clinicians and prepares fellows for positions in academic medicine. The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate on established projects, work as part of a team creating resources including interactive tools to support rapid and rigorous research, and be encouraged to conduct independent research with an emphasis on manuscript writing and grant submission.The fellow will be matched with a primary fellowship mentor based on their interests and career goals, and will have access to:Involvement in pragmatic research projects and scholarly group meetingsDedicated time for manuscript preparationFinancial support for mentored researchPartnering with fellow researchers as interests growExamples of Work Performed:Serve as a project lead to develop and execute a novel sub-project within the team's research portfolioServe as the lead author of high quality manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed scientific journals using lab or related data.Substantively contribute as the middle author of lab manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed scientific journals (minimum of 2 middle-author submissions per year).Assist with creating scientific presentations and reports to support dissemination activities in the lab.Assist general research operations in the group, which includes miscellaneous scientific, administrative, and educational activities.Coordinate members of the study team and ensure regulatory compliance.Work Location:

$56,484-$68,604 , dependent on number of years of post-doctoral experience.The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
