They will perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure that software meets functional and performance requirements. The engineer will work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues, validate fixes, and ensure the overall quality and reliability of the software throughout the development lifecycle.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in software products.Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new features.Participate in the design and review of software testing strategies and processes.Ensure software meets performance, reliability, and security standards.Prepare and present test reports and summaries to stakeholders.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.Qualifications

Proven experience as a Software Engineer QA/QC Tester, in a similar role.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), or similar are a plus.Experience with both manual and automated testing.Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Proficiency in writing clear and concise bug reports and documentation.Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, or other relevant languages).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Clearance: Must possess a Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.Travel
