merchandise by stamping, marking, or placing shelf tags/signs.Responsible for daily store price change compliance; performs and completes price changes on price change days.Assures daily price changes are done accurately and completed before the store opens; maintaining price integrity at all times.Assures all displays and side stacks are priced and marked accurately at all times.Audits the store to ensure accurate pricing and tare compliance.Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times; keeps aisles free of cardboard and overstock merchandise.Follows safety work standards and reports any safety hazards to supervisors and/or Store Director.Serves customers with a smile and a willing attitude.Education and/or Experience:High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods; walk; frequently use hands; handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee occasionally is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
