It is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.JOB SUMMARYThe Director, Partnership Relations for Global Campus Partnerships-Health at Northeastern University plays a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening the university's engagement with healthcare, health and life science, biopharma, biotechnology, population and public health and other health-related partners across a diverse network of global campuses and 10 colleges.This strategic position focuses on developing and enhancing network-wide opportunities for student experiential programs, continuing education, clinical placements, research collaborations, and entrepreneurship; and facilitating the transfer of faculty expertise to industry partners that have a health-related, life science, research and/or technological focus.The incumbent will also be responsible for promoting and selling the university's research capabilities, facilities, continuing education and B2B learning portfolio in the areas mentioned above (healthcare, health and life science, biopharma, biotechnology, population and public health and other health-related fields), fostering new partnerships, and nurturing existing relationships to drive mutually beneficial collaborations.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Education, or a related field.Masters degree in health-related discipline highly preferred.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development, partnership management, or related roles. Higher-Ed experience is highly preferred.Healthcare experience in clinical or administrative role highly preferred.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently as a self-starter, initiating and driving business development initiatives.Proficient in pipeline management, with experience in reporting on business development activities.Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work across units, departments, campuses, and colleges/disciplines, and sectors.Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce - Lightning) and data analytics for efficient pipeline management.Experience in facilitating knowledge transfer sessions and sharing best practices.Cross-cultural communication skills for effective collaboration across different campuses.Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative culture within teams and across organizational units.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful cross-campus and/or product strategies.RequirementInterested candidates must submit their resume with cover letter. Cultivate strong ties not only with current industry partners but also with key stakeholders within the university, spanning colleges, campuses, programs, and research centers/institutes.Utilize your seasoned networking skills to navigate through diverse university connections, drawing on established track record to comprehend and anticipate evolving needs and opportunities.

Innovate Strategies for Deeper Collaboration:

Apply your wealth of experience to devise innovative strategies aimed at deepening collaboration, ensuring that our relationships transcend conventional boundaries and approaches.Maximize the value of existing partnerships through strategic planning and implementation, informed by your understanding of both the university and industry landscapes.

Identify and Secure New Partnerships:

Leverage your experience to research and analyze industry trends and labor needs/skills, identifying potential partners (through your personal networks, as well as the university and alumni networks).Utilize your proven track record to actively seek and engage new stakeholders, establishing strategic partnerships.Present compelling proposals, drawing on your extensive experience, that showcase the university's services and value proposition.

Manage the Scoping, Presentation, and Proposal Development:

Apply your 5+ years of experience to promote and sell the university's B2B learning portfolio to industry partners.Collaborate with internal teams, leveraging your proven skills, to tailor offerings/proposals based on partner needs, objectives, and deliverables.Negotiate and finalize agreements, utilizing your extensive experience, that align with both parties' objectives. Working with colleagues of aligned units and the Office of General Counsel.

Facilitate Experiential Programs:

Collaborate with academic units to develop and enhance student experiential programs.Develop leads for the placement of students in co-op jobs, clinical sites, apprenticeships, and research opportunities, among others.Ensure a seamless integration between academic curricula (skills and competencies) and industry needs.

Collaborate and Communicate:

Work closely with internal stakeholders to align business development efforts with university goals.Provide regular updates on partnership progress, successes, challenges and opportunities.Foster a culture of collaboration and communication within the business development team and across colleges and the network of campuses.
