The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and demonstrate a keen interest in high-level insurance coverage litigation, dispute analysis, and coverage assessments.Duties:Draft complex case evaluations, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.Handle all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal as applicable.Conduct thorough legal research and draft memoranda on various legal issues.Manage discovery processes, including document production, written discovery, and depositions.Collaborate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.Analyze insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes, prepare coverage opinions, and conduct coverage analyses.Demonstrate exceptional writing and analytical skills, translating research into comprehensive written work products.Exhibit superior organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases efficiently.Utilize excellent interpersonal, networking, and business development skills.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2-6 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to insurance coverage litigation or a strong interest in this area.Admission to the District of Columbia Bar and be in good standing (or eligible to waive into DC pursuant to DC Court of Appeals Rule 49).Strong academic credentials and demonstrated success in legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Experience in federal district court or appellate clerkship is a plus.Ability to manage client relationships and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Familiarity with emerging risks in insurance, environmental, and products liability underlying litigation is advantageous.Proficiency in case management software and legal research databases.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the District of Columbia Bar (or eligibility to waive in pursuant to DC Court of Appeals Rule 49).Skills:Excellent legal writing and case management skills.Ability to handle direct client and adversary interactions effectively.Proficiency in legal technology and research tools.Benefits Offered:The firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, and discretionary bonuses.Company infoBCG Attorney Search1629 K ST NW, Suite 300WashingtonDistrict of ColumbiaUnited States 20006Phone :
