is a member of the Vail Ski and Snowboard School management team who is responsible for the overall quality of all program products at the location. This position will manage a family of 50-60 instructors, while at the same time be the liaison between the Location Manager, the location supervisors, and the product sales team to ensure that all products are of the quality that will ensure our guests the Experience of a Lifetime.Job Specifications:Starting Wage: $58,125Schedule & Availability: Full Time / Winter SeasonalOutlet: VailJob Responsibilities:Hiring and TrainingManaging and coaching instructors and supervisorsScheduling staff, assigning work, and booking private lessons when neededOverall morale of program staffWorkplace safety and support of all safety initiativesQuality control of all product within the program, ie. 7-14, 3-6, SB, adult, private lessonsCommunication with Location Manager, supervisors and inside staff personnelDriving value for the companyOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:High School Degree or Equivalent required, College degree - preferredMinimum three years as a full-time instructor for a recognized ski and snowboard school - requiredAt least two years management experience with the Vail Ski and Snowboard School - preferredKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access) required. Knowledge of RPOS is preferredMust read, speak, and comprehend English and possess writing and editing skills - requiredExcellent guest service and communication skills. Must be organized and detail-oriented - requiredKnowledge of V/BC Ski & Snowboard School operations - preferredThe expected pay range is $58,125.
