Medical Scribe
to join our growing team in New Jersey. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday, with normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Mondays & Tuesdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Wednesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Fridays). Our office is located at 299 Market Street, Saddle Brook, NJ, 7663.We offer 2 - 3 days of paid on-the-job training in the office. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.Primary Responsibilities:Accurately transcribe dictations provided by healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants)Maintain adherence to transcription quality assurance standards (e.g., QA metrics, productivity metrics, daily reviews of post-QA reports)Provide post-QA documents (e.g., difference documents) to transcriptionists and/or QA analysts, as appropriateDemonstrate appropriate grammar, punctuation and style standards when transcribing/editing provider dictationsDemonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pharmacologyDemonstrate knowledge of medical terminology for appropriate medical specialtiesDemonstrate knowledge of medical/surgical procedures and equipment for appropriate medical specialtiesDemonstrate knowledge of medications/dosages for appropriate medical specialtiesRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDMust be 18 years of age OR older6+ months of medical transcription experienceUnderstanding of medical terminology from education OR previous on-the-job trainingAbility to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Mondays & Tuesdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Wednesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Fridays) from Monday - FridayPreferred Qualifications:Work experience as a medical scribe in a fast-paced clinical environmentAbility to type at the speed of 60+ WPM (words per minute)Experience with Epic EMRNew Jersey Residents Only:
The hourly range for this is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour.
