The company’s mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye.OVERVIEW:The role of US Sales & Clinical Education is responsible for the initial and ongoing Sales, Product & Ophthalmic Education and Training of the US Sales Team (SD & AM). The position will be a subject matter expert in company products. The position will organize, develop and provide best-in-class sales & product training, organizing initial and ongoing training of the SDs, AMs. The role will liaise with and take consideration from all inputs (Customer, Sales, Management, Education, Marketing, etc.) to develop and execute sales techniques and strategies with demonstrable measurable improvements. Position will be responsible for developing an ongoing Clinical Education program for the Account Managers including KPIs to measure understanding and retention.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop & lead sales training and coaching strategies, executing programs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.Develop KPI’s and/or effectiveness measures making development programs success/failure visible, and putting in place corrective action(s), where applicable.Lead Regional Field sales coaches – one SD and one AM per region.Develop sales training for planned product launches working closely with Marketing to ensure consistency of messaging as well as tactical sales strategies.Represent Sales Training on new product strategic launch team(s), where applicable.Collaborate with Marketing on FAQ’s and sales coaching tactics ensuring sales collateral and training content is controlled and consistent.Develop “sample” testing strategies within local region vetting out strategies to ensure they are scalable, repeatable, and vetted prior to full national launches.Execute Product Training for new Sales hires.Ensure compliance to released clinical training programs & company SOPs.Ensure administrative processes are also trained and absorbed by the Sales Team including critical processes.Support & Document initial and annual certification of applicable AMs to train customers on eligible products following SOPs.Develop ongoing ophthalmic education program for AMs with KPIs to measure understanding & retention.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Candidate must demonstrate a skill set in developing new processes from concept to implementation.Proven expertise in Sales and Training, both development and tactical execution.Proven Ophthalmic expertise (refraction, optics, refractive and cataract surgery exposure, diagnosis and comorbidities, IOL Planning, Outcomes Analysis, Clinic Workflows, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills.Ability to understand, integrate and effectively communicate scientific/clinical and commercial value of company products and technology.Previous industry experience working with Sales/Clinical/R&D/Marketing teams in a highly regulated, commercial medical device business.Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management abilities.Proven ability to develop relationships with clinicians and other Healthcare Professionals.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as scientific acumen.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Although this position will not have supervisory requirements, it is expected that this position will lead the sales & clinical activities and efforts within the education dept and at individual customer sites. We expect this position will lead with role model behavior through their interactions with fellow employees and RxSight customers.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:8+ years of related Sales experience working in cataract surgery devices required.5+ years related experience directly involved with medical, surgical and refractive ophthalmic practice.Experience in Ophthalmology required.Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system.The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:COA/CCOA/COMT desired but not required.Must be willing to obtain JCAHPO certification within 1 year of hire.COMPUTER SKILLS:MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams).
