Job Duties : Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.33922)
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:
Java, Microservices, Docker;
Web frameworks (Spring boot, Dropwizard), streaming platforms like Kafka, RDBMS and NoSQL databases; Building highly available services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols; The event-driven architectures, common patterns and approaches to distribute the load;
Container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Nomad);
Development of scalable, cloud-native distributed systems on-premise and in public clouds (OCI, AWS, GCP);
Transition from on-premises data centers into public clouds;
Terraform, Helm, CI/CD and observability tools and practices for putting quality code in production and troubleshooting issues;
Software engineering, Architecture, DevOps and management;
Evolution of legacy monolith applications to scalable event-driven microservices architecture.
