Position Overview:

Palm Bay International is recruiting for the role of Marketing Director, Champagne. This newly created position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for a leading global Champagne brand.

We are looking for a rare talent who will proactively build best-in-class brand, trade, and consumer marketing strategies, demonstrate category-specific expertise, and passionately reflect company values while leading Champagne marketing efforts across the US. The role requires an executional mindset and involves strategic planning, 360° marketing toolkit elaboration, continuously improving and pursuing competitive advantages, and collaborating seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our shared objectives.

The role will be key in driving superior sales performance, championing brand awareness, augmenting brand positioning, and fostering brand loyalty. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a growth mindset, a deep understanding of the luxury beverage market, strong leadership skills, and a creative, curious mind.

Location:

Port Washington, NY and/or New York, New York (Hybrid 3 days in office)

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy for the Champagne brand in the US market, aligning with global brand guidelines and business objectives.

Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, PR, events, and partnerships, to drive brand awareness and sales growth.

Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and consumer insights.

Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute trade marketing programs, supporting key accounts and distribution partners.

Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, influencers, media outlets, and industry stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Oversee the development of compelling marketing materials, including advertising, packaging, POS materials, and digital content.

Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.

Educational Qualifications & Experiences:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior role within the luxury beverage industry.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and strategies.

Strong understanding of the US market, including consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a keen eye for detail.

Experience managing budgets and delivering results within allocated resources.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

Passion for Champagne and the luxury lifestyle.
