As

Senior Manager of Driver Recruiting , you are responsible for overseeing the development and execution of driver recruiting programs, ensuring the company attracts and retains high-quality drivers to meet its operational needs. This role is responsible for leading a team of internal driver recruiters and processors and enhancing the driver recruitment process to ensure a steady supply of qualified drivers.This position requires strong leadership skills, experience in high-volume recruitment, and extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations for hiring Commercial Drivers for transportation and logistics.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Driver Recruitment Strategy:Create and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified CDL drivers and ensure alignment with the company's recruiting growth goals.Train, develop, and coach the driver recruiting team in sales and recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified CDL drivers, including market analysis and identifying effective recruiting channels.Strategize with senior leadership to align recruitment goals with the company’s targeted goals.Team Management:Lead and develop a high-performing driver recruiting team, setting performance goals, and ensuring the development of its members to meet recruitment targets.Establish, monitor, and report on recruiting KPIs, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, providing regular updates to senior leadership on recruiting progress and challenges.Work closely with other departments such as operations and driver services to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.Ensure the team meets recruitment targets while maintaining high standards of ethics and professionalism.Relationship Building:Cultivate relationships with driving schools, military transition programs, and industry partners to enhance recruitment pipelines.Ensure effective communication, written and oral, to prospective candidates regarding driver opportunities and aligning applicant qualifications with hiring criteria.Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for recruitment advertisements and promotional materials to enhance the company’s employer brand while attracting top talent.Performance Metrics:Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including application screening, interviewing, and onboarding.Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to senior leadership, making data-driven decisions to improve recruitment processes.Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics, trends, and performance to senior management.Manage continuous improvement in applicant tracking, background screening, DOT and FMCSA compliance of CDL driver hiring.Manage recruiting costs, third-party vendor relationships, and department budgets to ensure cost containment while meeting driver hiring objectives.Compliance:Ensure all recruitment practices comply with company policies and industry regulations.Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in conjunction with company policies.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in driver recruiting management, sales management, staffing, or similar fields.Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong in data analytics management.Ability to manage a team responsible for high call volume and effective email communication.Strong leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating and developing a recruitment team.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with critical KPI accountability.Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, critical thinking, and sense of urgency.Proven problem-solving abilities and a track record of utilizing analytics to drive recruitment strategies.High level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership in managing a team.Must have extensive knowledge of rules and regulations for hiring Commercial drivers in transportation.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Results-oriented with a focus on achieving recruitment goals.Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Preferred Qualifications:Experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably TenStreet.An in-depth understanding of DOT regulations and industry best practices in driver recruitment.Prior experience in a staffing agency with high volume placements.2-3 years in a management role within the transportation or trucking industry.Deep understanding of the trucking and transportation industry, including the challenges and opportunities related to driver
