Kearney & Company is seeking an IT Audit Manager to support the Intelligence Community (IC) in Chantilly, VA. Duties include:Provide the first line of supervision to a team of audit professionals and support staffResponsible for the general oversight of the quality control function, including overall work paper reviewUnderstanding of Government Auditing Standards, audit procedures, and financial analysis techniquesApply information technology and audit concepts to the client’s missionSelf-starter, takes the initiative to deliver quality work products to the client with little direction from supervisorSupervise and review work performed by other staffDevelop people through effectively delegating tasks and providing guidance to staffProvide subject matter technical expertise to delivery team in financial management areas of financial reporting, internal control, and/or financial business systemsReview draft deliverables prepared by engagement teams and present final results to managementAssist Partners/Principals and Senior Managers in the creation of proposals, business development, and practice administrationAdvise and consult with Partners on all significant developmentsAct as primary liaison to the client and make Partners aware of all major developmentsUtilize technology to share knowledge with team members, develop skills, and continually learn
QualificationsBachelors degree from an accredited college/university with focus/concentration in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related technical disciplineMinimum 5 years of accounting, auditing, data analytic, information technology and/or related technical experienceManagement/ Leadership ExperienceStrong customer service skillsProject management experienceExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to travel up to 25%, barring any travel restrictions associated with the current COVID-19 environmentMinimum Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph for the IC (Intelligence Community)Preferred QualificationsFinancial Statement Audit experienceActive CPA or CISA certificationExclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services.
