Your efforts will ensure that Anduril products seamlessly work together to achieve a variety of critical outcomes. way while keeping the mission top-of-mind and making sound engineering decisions to deliver successful outcomes correctly, on-time, and with high quality.What you’ll doWrite embedded driver layer software for a variety of communication protocols that might include Serial, I2C, UDP, TCP and Rest Interfaces.Provide abstractions of sensors to both mission autonomy, launch sequencing, built in tests, and humans in the loop, to control classes of sensors seamlessly regardless of vendor.Support Simulation of sensor suites for full integration testing of platform.Work closely with electrical, mechanical, flight systems, and various other teams to provide the best product for a given integration.Travel in support of sensor testing at local captive carry tests around Georgia and at Altius flight tests around the United States. Perform Hardware in the Loop testing prior to test events and evaluate software performance with entire system in the loop.Provide in depth system wide insight and designs, creating Preliminary Design Reviews and Critical Design reviews that can be traced back to core system requirements.Support next generation Target Acquisition Assistance, integrating Computer Vision into existing systems to improve targeting.Core RequirementsStrong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.At least 3 -5 years of C++ experience. Experience in GOLANG and RUST is a plus!Strong Systems engineering background, being able to pick up how subsystems communicate over various different protocols.Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis.Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact.U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.WHAT WE VALUE IN MISSION SOFTWARECustomer Facing
