The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital medicine, excellent leadership skills and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and direction to hospitalist team
- Collaborate with hospital administration to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Oversee quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of departmental goals
- Manage and mentor hospitalist physicians and advanced practice providers
- Engage in direct patient care, maintaining clinical excellence
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism and continuous learning
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of of hospital medicine leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively wit multidisciplinary teams
