**Description**General Store ManagerManages all facets of an Acuity Optical retail store operation, daily operations of a retail store environment, sales, staff management, budgetary controls, inventory controls, and other duties while maintaining the highest level of customer service.* Manage and drive all aspects of Acuity Optical P&L. Achieve sales and profit objectives, monitor sales analytics, and extract knowledge from the data. Motivate and lead optical team, holding them accountable for results.* Assemble & develop high performing optical team by recruiting & hiring top talent and developing team.* Provide direction and supervision to team; ensure all store employees achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service.* Oversee sales performance at retail store location by implementing effective sales strategies & ensuring sales targets are met/exceeded consistently at designated location.* Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and all employees and providers are aware of current promotions.* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize sales results.* Drive retail store performance & effectiveness by translating analytics into actions & sustainable results.* Ensure target sales productivity thresholds are delivered by monitoring appropriate levels of labor at the retail store level.* Proactively identify changes in competitive pressures & customer shifts to develop and modify strategies and tactics.* Provide daily, weekly and monthly statistics to the corporate office.* Establish effective relationships & collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, HR, etc.) to address key business issues & opportunities.* Grow and retain talent, hiring the best for business needs, and improving how they are trained and developed.* Develop, document, and maintain standard operational procedures, checklists, and process flows for related projects and help drive the change management related to the projects or initiatives.REQUIRED: Associate degree; 4 years of related work experience in a retail and customer service environment, staff management experience; or an equivalent combination of both education and work experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule and hours necessary to open and/or close retail store, including weekends, nights, weekends, and holidays.DESIRABLE: Bachelors Degree; prior experience in the optical industry or other retail healthcare management experience.CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:Certified Dispensing Optician (preferred)Valid Drivers License
