ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Aggressively pursue all appropriate business opportunities within designated accounts or segments including responding to leads, customer solicitation, and relationship building;Utilize a "hands-on" approach to be actively involved in maintaining current accounts; as well as securing, qualifying, and following up on leads to book new clients and accounts;Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales activity and productivity goals for both personal and team goals;Generate new group leads through proactive solicitation using resources such as the internet, third-party vendors, brand resources, property sales systems, etc.;Ensure accurate, professional and timely written correspondence, proposals, bids, and follow-up for all booked and potential group events;Plan and execute client site visits, on-site client negotiations and meetings, and pre and post-con meetings;Manage property-level Sales Team staff by ensuring appropriate sales goals are established and also overseeing hiring, training and performance management of staff;Function as a key resource for revenue strategy development along with the General Manager, Director of Marketing and Revenue Managers, helping to develop pricing, inventory, and marketing strategies;Function as a liaison between departments and communicate strategies and sales information;Actively engage in the local community as it benefits the hotel, via approved memberships in organizations, charitable activities, and business community events;Responsible for all Group Sales marketing ensuring the content and appearance is current, accurate, and optimally represents the hotel;Provide financial leadership of the sales function to include forecasting revenue, participating in the annual budget process, preparing for and participating in financial reviews at the property level as well as maintaining property strategic selling standard operating procedures;Conduct and/or participate in required meetings including but not limited to operations, budgeting, revenue strategy, BEO and regular staffing meeting ensuring that all information is disseminated to all staff in the department and across departments as appropriate;Partner effectively with Marketing and Banquet staff to ensure complete planning and preparedness for all events and ensure the highest level customer service is provided during all group events;Ensure all Groups Sales reports are generated timely and accurately and distributed to all appropriate parties;Host or participate in proactive sales initiatives and events; andAny and all other work as assigned.$75,000+ annually based on experience, plus commissionFull House Resorts offers all full-time employees and eligible family members a comprehensive and valuable benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, 401k retirement plan which includes a matching contribution after one (1) year of service, a generous paid time off program, paid transportation from Colorado Springs, Woodland Park and Pueblo, free local gym membership tuition reimbursement and more.
