ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for organizing and supporting weekly calendar of sales, meetings, solicitation calls either inside or out, site inspections. Calendar is due to DOS every Friday.Assist with the planning and preparation of special events, both on-site and off-site, as designated by the Director of Sales.Coordinate with Sales Coordinator to prepare for trade shows, wedding shows, etc.Prepare weekly bookingWork closely with the Purchasing Manager for the arrival of groupPrepare group resumes after group is detailed with rooms and food and beverage if additional information needs to be sent out on wedding receptions or big events, and also prepare for distributionArrange detailing appointments with upcoming groups to prepare banquet event orders three weeks in advance.Consistently exhibit excellent internal and external customerGreet and communicate with all customers and group members in a friendly, courteous, empathetic manner.Complete other duties as assigned in a timely and professionalWithin the realm of responsibility of the job, maintain a clean and safe workAttend weekly BEO meeting and operations stand Conduct group resume meetings with department heads and clients 10 days in advance of group arrivals.Greet every client upon arrival, prepare VIP room amenity with welcomeSet appointment for follow up meeting following conference to receive comments ofFollow-up with clients about potential other business or rebooking ofAfter departure send "thank you for your business"Prepare customer profile to receive birthday, likes, to follow up with on special occasions.Perform duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes the use of safety equipment.
