Controller - SaaS Client
Are you a skilled and driven financial professional with a passion for the dynamic world of Software as a Service (SaaS)We are seeking a talented Controller to join our prestigious SaaS client, a leading provider of cutting-edge technology solutionsAs the Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and providing strategic guidance to support our client's continued growthJoin our team and make an impact as you utilize your expertise as a controller in a SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:1Serve as the primary controller for our SaaS client, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.2Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.3Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.4Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.5Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.6Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans and monitor performance against targets.7Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems, implementing improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:1Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA designation preferred.2Proven experience as a Controller in a SaaS or technology-focused organization, with a deep understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles.3Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.4Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.5Experience in implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and ensuring compliance.6Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.7Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
