JOB SUMMARY

Manages the inside sales and customer service team and supporting operations required to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Uses customer feedback and insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new opportunities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProvides leadership to the inside sales and customer service team.Motivates and encourages team to ensure quotas are met.Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.Provides guidance to customer service team on customer issues or conflicts.Conducts long-term and short-term goal setting for teams and individuals and uses data to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.Works with department leaders to ensure business objectives are met.Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.Collaborates with site leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.Acts as company representative at trade association meetings.Performs other duties as assigned.SKILLS and ABILITIES

Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively.Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales.Ability to read precision component/fastener blueprints.Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy.Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives.Planning, organization and problem-solving skills.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.7+ years in sales and customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.7+ years experience as a supervisor.5+ years reading precision component blueprints.
