Due to recent growth in our partnerships taxation industry group,
Keiter
is seeking a dynamic and client service-oriented individual to join our practice as a
Tax Manager
specializing in
Partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities and Knowledge:
› Serve as liaison among senior managers, partners, clients, and staff. Handle all phases of tax engagements specializing in those related to partnerships
› Possess strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation; industry specialization a plus
› Working knowledge of US Tax Code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
› Background working in partnership compliance and/or consulting, including experience with various common partnership issues (Sec 704(b) capital accounts and revaluations, Sec 754 basis adjustments, Sec. 704(c) and special allocations, and partnership agreements)
› Serve as the main point of contact for multiple clients and directly handle tax-related communication with clients' attorneys, brokers, or other third parties
› Participate in the development of staff through one-on-one teachable moments and offering feedback on a regular basis; also seek feedback from others
› Actively participate in the generation of additional business by seeking out new clients and follow-through with leads
› Contribute to and foster a positive work environment
Job Requirements:
› Hold active CPA license
› At least five years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or other related experience
› Ability to develop relationships with current and potential clients
