A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their staff as their new Tax Manager / Senior Manager. In this role, the Tax Manager / Senior Manager providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services to real estate clients, including supervisory and mentoring skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
The Tax Manager / Senior Manager will:Consult with clients regarding tax and business mattersProactively deliver exceptional client service in a timely, professional, and accurate mannerLead and plan client engagementsProvide tax planning and savings opportunities to the clientIdentify opportunities to provide additional consultative solutions and services that will provide value to the clientAssist with all areas of client engagement regarding staffing, billing, and engagement economicsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
5+ years of Tax experienceBachelor's DegreeProficient software and Microsoft Suite skills.Demonstrated leadership, project management, communication and analytical skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized
