Description POSITION SUMMARY As a member of the senior leadership team, this critical position is responsible for leading our marketing strategy and execution with a company-wide scope. The Vice President, Marketing is accountable for driving external brand awareness and internal communications, ensuring we create a unified, consistent brand message in the communities and markets in which we do business. This leader will have a deep understanding of marketing in the context of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations and will have a proven track record of building value propositions for large organizations. The Vice President, Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to differentiate our brand and drive growth, as well as leading community relations and communications efforts. This role will report to the President and CEO, LDI. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals, values, and ESG considerations. Lead the development of messaging, brand positioning, and value propositions that resonate with our target customers and reflect our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across product development, sales, and customer support teams. Develop and implement marketing programs to support the launch of new products and services, as well as ongoing marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition. Analyze marketing data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust the strategy as needed to achieve business objectives. Provide input and guide the organization on various marketing events and initiatives, including partnering with the Sales function on go-to-market strategies. Stay up-to-date with marketing trends and best practices, and continuously explore new marketing channels to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement. Partner with Vice President, Strategic Planning to proactively monitor and report on industry trends. Manage the marketing budget and provide regular reporting on marketing performance to the executive team. Lead community relations efforts to build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, nonprofit organizations, and other stakeholders. Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to ensure consistent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the brand's voice is maintained across all digital and social media platforms. Manage public relations efforts and crisis communications to protect and enhance the company's reputation. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in marketing with a track record of success in a leadership role. Understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics and KPIs Experience developing and executing marketing strategies that reflect ESG considerations and build value propositions for large organizations. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making. Proven ability to manage a marketing budget and allocate resources effectively. Passion for sustainability, social responsibility, and making a positive impact on the world. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Experience in the Packaging industry, or related Manufacturing industry. Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience in community relations and communications, including public relations and crisis communications.
