Ardent Services LLC is hiring an Accounting Manager/Controller.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

AP / AR / PR / Cash Management

Duties/Responsibilities:

Accounting support – calculates journal entries with data from system-generated reports or other sources for a variety of general ledger accounts.

Reconcile General Ledger Accounts – maintains reconciliations for a variety of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.

Financial reporting - assists in the preparation of financial statements, cash forecasting, monthly accruals as well as bank reconciliation.

Monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax preparation.

Creating and implementing financial policies and procedures.

Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations.

Monitoring and protecting the organization’s assets and financial condition.

Daily collaborations with payroll, HR, AR, AP, Job Costing, banking, and general ledger.

Internal Audits from Parent Company

Required Skills/Abilities:

Advanced Excel experience

Excellent organizational, analytical, numerical, verbal, and written communication

Ability to effectively communicate with other departments within the organization.

Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.

Ensure departmental deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance

CPA or CPA candidate a plus

Viewpoint Vista Trimble Software a plus

Five to ten years of professional experience a plus
