Description
Investigate, process, and audit Districtwide supplemental pay requests from district personnel.Ensure the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of supplemental pay records, adhering to all applicable deadlines.Create training materials and provide guidance to districtwide timekeepers and approvers regarding supplemental submissions and federal, state, and local laws.Coordinate with various departments to review supplemental pay budgets and ensure proper forecasting and alignment.Determine pay rates for select nonexempt staff.Provide customer service to employees, timekeepers, administrators, and department leaders in all areas, by responding to supplemental pay inquires and assisting with any corrections or concerns.Coordinate with the Budget, Payroll, Grants, and PEIMS departments for changes and updates to necessary and allowable expenditures associated with supplemental compensation and proper TEA coding.Research supplemental pay trends and use market data to provide recommendations and solutions to district supplemental pay concerns.Assist in creating and testing technology upgrades and enhancements to the supplemental pay process.Maintain the Compensation Resource Handbook and coordinate with departments annually for any revisions.Qualifications
Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. Equivalency); Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred.Demonstrated proficiency with MS office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Demonstrated ability to use a consultative approach to resolving issues.Ability to successfully complete multiple projects at once.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain successful working relationships.Required entry level indirect experience.
