Job Summary:
The role of Audit Senior Manager is to oversee the audit process for variety of different financial institutions, including SEC filers. Our Financial Institutions team is over 100 professionals strong, and the Audit Senior Manager will have a critical role in making our team operate stronger, wiser and better. The Audit Senior Manager will lead the audit team, supervising the audit process, researching, reviewing current processes, and providing recommendations to enhance company policies and procedures. The Audit Senior Manager is responsible for training, supporting, supervising, motivating, and reviewing the work of the audit team.
The Audit Senior Manager will have access to decision makers on a daily basis and will be involved in business development and customer initiatives that drive growth across all of our service lines. As a valued member of the Audit Practice team adherence to strict confidentiality is expected to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities :Possess thorough knowledge of all facets of client's business to ensure client understanding of engagement economics and to provide frequent updates.Own and monitor client relationship over the length of engagement process.Create a collaborative team environment and motivate team through communication and actions.Actively communicate progress of engagements, issues and resolutions to clients and shareholders.Demonstrate the ability to identify complex issues and creatively resolve them.Assume responsibility for all phases of client engagement and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.Monitor engagement budgets and billing by reviewing reports and data and accurately communicate these findings.Delegate and manage audit assignments to achieve accurate results.Help to create opportunities to find new business in revenue generating activities.Participate in performance management; assess readiness for promotion of staff, senior, and manager levels.Assume responsibility for and provide direction and coaching to audit team.Maintain familiarity with staff's qualifications, reviews assignments for appropriateness.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.CPA Certification.8+ years recent audit experience in a public accounting firm with a concentration in Financial Institutions, Banking, and SEC filers.Successful experience in developing new or extended service opportunities with existing and/or prospective clients.Strong oral and written interpersonal skills.Effective analytical and problem-solving ability.Experience in hiring, developing, and leading a team of professional auditors.SEC experience preferred.
