In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our client's HR department, ensuring a smooth and efficient employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Source, screen, interview, and hire top talent to join our team. Develop and implement new hire orientation programs to welcome new employees. Administer employee pay, benefits, and leave of absence programs. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Track and document employee training and development needs. Conduct or acquire background checks and handle employee relations matters. Address employee questions and concerns, manage conflict resolution, and participate in disciplinary meetings. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Stay up-to-date on HR trends, best practices, and technological advancements. Requirements:
Written and verbal communication are essential for interacting with employees at all levels. Build strong relationships, negotiate effectively, and resolve conflict with a positive and professional approach. Juggle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines. Manage your time effectively to ensure all HR functions run smoothly. Analyze situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions. Prioritize tasks and delegate effectively when appropriate. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all HR matters. Possess a thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new HR software systems. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
