A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax Associate for a promising Senior-level position with their growing staff. In this role, the Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for servicing the firm's High Net Worth clients with tax compliance, planning and research.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing individual, estate and trust tax returns, including learning fiduciary accountings, private foundations and other ways to assist clients in retaining their wealth.Qualifications2+ years of experience working within a Middle Market and/or CPA firmBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, and/or a related fieldSolid Tax background (Fiduciary, Individual, Partnership, Trust / Estate)Experience working with High Net Work clientsWorking knowledge of ProsystemMicrosoft Excel proficientSolid analytical, mathematical, and research skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills

Juris Doctorate and/or Master's Degree in TaxationCPA or parts passed
