A wealth management firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their growing team as a Tax Manager. In this role, the Tax Manager will be responsible for working closely with a Managing Director in providing accounting and family office services to a very large client.
Responsibilities:
The Tax Manager will be responsible for:Detailed review of Federal, and multi-state tax returns for High Net Worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, family LLC, trusts, foundations and gift tax returnsResearching various tax issues related to the tax compliance and tax planning dutiesReviewing quarterly and year-end tax projections using BNA tax softwarePerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:
5+ years of Tax and/or Family Office Services experience within a Middle Market and/or boutique CPA firmBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related fieldCPA or parts passedGood knowledge of 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, 990-PF, 709 and multi stateMicrosoft Excel proficientSolid analytical, mathematical, and research skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:
Experience in an Ultra High Net Worth environment
