Entry-level Automation Engineer
to join our
Process Instrumentation, Controls and Automation Group
. Learn and improve your skills while working on highly visible projects for our very diverse list of Clients and Markets. This position will require close coordination with our Project Mangers, Discipline Captains our Clients, and our Multi-Discipline Project Teams to meet Quality requirements, Client expectations, and project schedules.
Responsibilities: Work closely with Discipline Captains to help develop project design deliverables. Help Develop / Define Automation and Programming Requirements for PLC Based Systems. Develop PLC / HMI Programs to meet Project Requirements ssist Process Team in support of P&ID development and associated Cost Estimates Develop MCC One Lines and Electrical Control Schematics Develop and maintain instrument index. Specify Process Instrumentation to meet process requirements. Develop loop diagrams and other instrument wiring drawings. Develop and apply instrument installation details. Design Control Panels including associated field wiring and raceways. Interface with client and team to coordinate design activities. Checking and technical assurance of drawings, specifications, and programming. Startup, checkout and commissioning. Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (which qualifies for licensure) is required.
Electrical Engineering preferred. PLC / HMI Programming required. DCS Programming a Plus. MicroStation / AutoCAD Experience. Self-starter with a positive attitude Proficient in Microsoft Applications. Strong Communication Skills. bility to work and communicate remotely in an independent and team-oriented environment. Valid driver's license required.
