Position Description:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple facilities services categories for our domestic restaurant brands. This role will develop tactical purchasing strategies and work cross functionally to drive category savings while streamlining organizational purchasing behaviors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Lead the procurement process for facilities services, including sourcing suppliers, conducting RFx events, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service agreements meet company standards.Develop, implement, and optimize supplier programs.Establish and maintain relationships with facilities service providers, monitor their performance, and drive continuous improvement in service quality and cost-efficiency.Identify cost-optimizing opportunities while maintaining service quality and developing strategies to optimize facility service costs.Monitor and evaluate savings against targets by category, subcategory, and suppliers.Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and that supplier relationships adhere to contractual agreements.Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives, including risk management and supplier diversification.Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions, track key performance indicators, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Lead and mentor associates, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Maintain clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and team members, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with departmental goals.Competencies:
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and financial principles within the restaurant industry.Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.Quantitative Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making.Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.Strategic Thinking: Capability to think strategically and creatively, formulate plans, and execute strategies to achieve procurement goals.Supplier Relationship Management: Experience in managing and improving supplier relationships.Procurement Software: Familiarity with procurement software and tools.Attention to Detail: Detail oriented and able to deliver projects on time while maintaining strong organizational skills.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and demonstrated ability to take initiative.Experience & Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.5+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on facilities services.Experience in managing procurement operations in the restaurant industry or multi-brand franchisee business.Proficiency in procurement software and tools (knowledge of Coupa is a plus).Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Demonstrated success in cost optimization and supplier performance improvement.Knowledge of procurement regulations, compliance, and best practices.Why Work for Flynn?
