As Cresco grows, we will operate with the same level of professionalism and precision in each new market we move in to.**JOB SUMMARY:**Reporting to the Regional Vice-President, the General Manager is the leader responsible for the overall commercial operation of the Illinois. This individual will be responsible for managing the sales team, maintaining positive business relationships to ensuring achievement of sales targets and individual sales KPIs across our portfolio of brands. The General Manager will be accountable for creating territory level plans to hit goals, including customer marketing and promotions, galvanizing a cross-functional team under a common growth platform with accountability for the P&L, hitting internal and external targets, and creating the necessary connections to operations, marketing, and other cross-functional teams. This individual will work to identify innovative and creative services and solutions to expand our branded products in the market. The leader of this geography will ultimately be responsible for revenue growth, profitability, and creating a sustainable growth plan to capture market share in both the short and long-term.**CORE JOB DUTIES*** Responsible for overseeing all sales in the State of Illinois* Lead and manage a highly productive, motivated, and driven sales team through strong communication, empowerment, reward, and coaching techniques.* Responsible for the achievement of quarterly revenue & profit goals in the state, including setting individual sales targets and plans.* Responsible for managing the companys top customer relationships* Develop and track key performance metrics by Sales Representative to measure door penetration, unit and revenue velocity, re-order rates and frequency* Responsible for design, development, and implementation of comprehensive annual trade programs in support of strategic sales plan.* Develop timely sales reports and provide insight regarding outcomes of programs and promotions* Forecast sales figures and inventory requirements for the region.* Lead the participation of our brands at key events such as the High Times Cannabis Cup* Develop short- and long-term strategies in partnership with senior team members and provide the leadership necessary for the successful design, development, and execution of that strategy to achieve measurable outcomes in a timely, cost-effective manner.* Work closely with National Accounts, Operations, Cultivation, Innovation and Marketing partners to drive portfolio growth.* Support preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to Executive Leadership identifying strategies for growth.* Support preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for Executive Leadership, identifying performance to plan, Risks and Opportunities (R&O) with analysis and recommendations around gap closure.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** 10+ years prior experience in sales with proven leadership managing effective customer relationships* 3+ years managing, hiring, training and motivating a team of successful sales representatives* Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives* 1-2 years of experience in the Cannabis industry (preferred)* Track record of identifying, building, and delivering growth within a fast-moving organization.* Excellent communication and presentation skills with a wide range of audiences including customers, cross-functional teammates, and C-level leaders.* Experience working in matrixed environments and building productive teams that collaborate cross-functionally to achieve goals.* Strong numerical and analytical skill set with ability to interpret quantitative data.* Should possess the ability to turn data into a strong sell story via visual aids such as PowerPoint or Keynote.* Works well within groups to solve problems, with an ability to create innovative solutions* Demonstrated success anticipating future business opportunities and developing strategies that address them proactively.* Genuine interest in and passion for the cannabis industry is required.* Ability to travel throughout the state as needed**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS*** Must be 21 years of age or older to apply* Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry*Cresco Labs is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.*Location (City) * ***Voluntary Self-Identification**For government reporting purposes, we ask candidates to respond to the below self-identification survey.
