SUMMARY

HUSTLER Hollywood is looking for a dynamic Leave of Absence Administrator support our retail team. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources for the Retail Division and works out of our Retail Corporate Office in Torrance, CA. The Leave of Absence Administrator will handle tasks within the Human Resources department with responsibilities primarily in Leave of Absence administration and will support with HRIS administration, onboarding/offboarding, HR ticket management (using Zendesk), assisting with employee relations and investigations, and general HR administration including special projects.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:Leave Administration Management: Managing the entire leave process from notification to return.Communicates with employees regarding their needs for leave and/or accommodationEnsures that employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required to qualify for and to take leave.This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use.Maintains reasonable communication with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work, relays communication between employees and their managers during leave within reason.Advises managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off, workers compensation, and short-term and long-term disability benefits.Oversees the return-to-work process for employees returning from leave, workers compensation, or other leave(s).Facilitates other leave requests, to include accommodation requests under the ADA, PWFA, USERRA, etc.Drafts and/or recommends revisions to company leave processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.Maintains complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation of best practices.Preserves confidentiality of employee medical documentation and files.Maintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.Performs other related duties as assigned.Support As Needed:HR Metrics Compilation: Gathering and analyzing HR data from various sources.Employee Inquiries Handling: Addressing inquiries from applicants, employees, and leaders.Employee Relations Support: Assisting in resolving complex employee relations issues and conducting investigations.Onboarding and Offboarding Support: Assisting in pre-employment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.Record Keeping: Maintaining employee records in compliance with legal requirements.ADP System Management: ADP data entry and ensuring accuracy.HRIS Management: Processing new hires, terminations, and other status changes in the HRIS system.Knowledge Maintenance: Staying updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal changes.

Required Skills/Abilities:

At least 5 years' experience in Human ResourcesEmployee Relations Experience: Minimum one year of experience in resolving complex employee relations issues.Leave Management Experience: Minimum two years of experience managing leaves nationally.ADP Workforce Proficiency: Minimum one year of experience with ADP Workforce.Completion of specialized certification or training on FMLA/leave administration a plus.Experience working within a Human Resources team for a multi-regional or national team.Well-developed administrative skills as well as superior oral and written communication skillsSuperior interpersonal abilities, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.Ability to act with integrity and maintain confidentiality.Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to work in the Torrance office 100% of the time.WORK ENVIRONMENT

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.Must be able to work in adult content environment
