Summary

Primarily responsible for completing audit engagement assignments with minimal supervision. The Audit Project Manager is expected to:understand and identify the full range of risks related to processes, regulatory compliance, organization, policy, and technology,evaluate control design adequacy in complex business processes,perform control testing, anddocument work performed in conformance with internal audit methodology.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of regulatory compliance audits based on identified risksContact with management regarding audit scope, status, and findingsResponsible for meeting time and staffing budgets for assigned auditsObjective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of controlEfficiency of performance of the activities being reviewedPrepare work papers that accurately document work performed and support conclusionsAdhere to Departmental policies and guidelinesConduct findings follow up validationEnsure audit issues are well-defined, root causes are identified, and recommendations for improved controls and processes are communicated to managementSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

NoneQUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree (4-Year Accredited College)

3 - 7 Years related auditing experience

Relevant financial services industry knowledge ( Regulatory Compliance & Operations)

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines

Thorough understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards

Certification preferred ( CRCM, CIA, CPA, CAMS, or other relevant professional designations)COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS

Microsoft Office Suite

TeamMate + (preferred)CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Certification preferred (CRCM, CIA, CPA, CAMS, or other relevant professional designations)
