VP of AccountingJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Assistant Controller in the real estate industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and supervising various financial aspects of assigned properties. This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $92,000, a hybrid work schedule, a 15% bonus, and the opportunity to report directly to the VP of Accounting.Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight:

Manage and supervise accounting and financial reporting for assigned properties.Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Reconciliation and Budget Adherence:

Conduct reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and provide insights on financial variances.

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable:

Oversee and manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize outstanding balances.

Cash Management:

Monitor cash balances and provide recommendations for optimizing liquidity.

Distributions:

Oversee the distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds.

Reporting and Analysis:

Provide regular financial reports to upper management, highlighting key performance indicators.Conduct special analyses on property results and present findings to support decision-making.

Financial Systems Management:

Continuously evaluate and improve financial systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

Interface with company personnel to ensure smooth financial operations and address any financial concerns.

Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis:

Undertake ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
