Mizuho Americas Finance - U.S. Financial Accounting Team
Our team is responsible for legal entity controllership of multiple entities, including the U.S. holding company and a banking subsidiary as well as leasing subsidiaries, under CFO organization. Deliverables for the team include, but are not limited to, audited financial statements, statutory reports, head-office reports and management reports.
Summary
In this role, you will support management and team members in preparation and presentation of financial reports and other reports, system automation, workflow enhancements and other ad-hoc projects. You have basic knowledge of and experience in financial reporting as well as an understanding of the financial industry.
Core Responsibilities:Lead the production of assigned reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with US GAAP and Head Office requirementsManage the team members, providing the necessary guidance and adviceSupport maintenance of strong internal control in the team for sound practice and in response to the expectations of management, internal/external auditors and examinersEngage in ad-hoc projects in finance areaInteract with management and auditors for inquiries and surveysSolve other relevant issues that may arise on an ad-hoc basisQualifications:
Eligible to work in the USBachelor degreeProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)At least 8 years of experience in financial reporting or related areasStrong ability to handle multiple tasksExperience in the financial industry is requiredProfessional certification is required
The expected base salary ranges from $114,000 - $160,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
