A leading commercial development company is seeking a Vice President of Finance interested in working with the finance and executive team on a fast-growing commercial real estate portfolio. If you have a background in commercial real estate finance, strong banking relationships, and the ability to execute financing transactions, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Assist the finance department in developing and executing the financial strategy, with a focus on optimizing banking relationships and facilitating loan transactions to support long-term growth and sustainability.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure access to necessary financial resources.Oversee the process of securing loans, including negotiation, due diligence, documentation, and closing, to meet the organization's financial needs.Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Provide in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis and performance metrics, to guide decision-making.Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, with a focus on loan-related risks.Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations, including loan agreements and covenants.Assist in managing the organization's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize the cost of capital.Provide financial recommendations to senior management, including investment opportunities, cost reduction strategies, and business development initiatives.Contribute financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establish functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.Evaluate trends, establish critical measurements, and determine production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies.Study economic trends and revenue opportunities; project acquisition and expansion prospects; analyze organization operations; identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement.Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment and lending community.Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.Accomplish finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Requirements and Skills:

Minimum seven years of experience in Commercial Real Estate finance.Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Strong business acumen.Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting, and best practices, particularly as they relate to loans and banking relationships.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions.Advanced capabilities for reporting, analyzing, and presenting financial data related to transactions.Ability to understand and explain complex deal structures.Ability to research and interpret market conditions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong presentation skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, and MS Outlook and CoStar).Benefits:
