We are dedicated to being the Health Center of choice for our patients and employees while maintaining a strong and sustainable financial position.Job Description:We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Accounting to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can effectively manage all finance and accounting functions within the company and has experience working with a FQHC.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis- Oversee budgeting, Grant reporting, and Budget allocation- Manage Care billing/negotiation- Collaborate with other executives and department heads to make informed business decisions- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations- Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership and board of directors meetings- Manage Charts of account for multiple grantsQualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, or related field- CPA or CFA certification preferred- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position- Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and strategic planning- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team- Experience working for a FQHC is a preferredIf you are a results-driven finance professional with a passion for driving financial excellence and leading a talented team, we invite you to apply for the position of Vice President of Finance at Community Health Partnership of Illinois.
