Tax Manager
to their team! They are looking for an entrepreneurial, personable, & technically talented individuals to join their growing team., who will have the desire to become a partner, with some ownership opportunities in the next 2-5 years!
Tax Manager Responsibilities:Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standardsplan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resourceswork directly with clients to build and maintain relationshipperform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papersPerform tax research projectsCommunicate with clients and team members regarding project status, client opportunities and other mattersProvide training, direction, and supervision to teamMaintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specializationBuild new client relationship and maintain existing relationshipsManage book of business, including budgets and production goalsEngage in Consulting and special projects as request by management and clientsTax Manager Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accountingCPA Certification required5+ years of experience in public accountingAbility to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and detail orientedWorking knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
