Role Overview:The Marketing Procurement Manager will be responsible for creating and driving MBS related activity across Upfield's Marketing and Business services categories, with Euro 105 MM+ combined spend responsibility in the Media & Data categories.This position involves category management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and ensuring that all marketing procurement activities align with the company's goals and budgets.Key Responsibility Areas:
Develop and Execute Procurement Marketing Category Strategy that aligns with the Marketing Brand Manager's strategic goals.Identify and execute Value Creation projects (VCPs) to meet category annual goals, validate with Finance and budget owner.Focus on existing supplier relationships and renegotiate existing agreements to meet targeted extended payment terms.Conduct market analysis to identify trends, supply risks, opportunities for cost savings.Partner with stakeholders to obtain budget visibility and perform procurement activities as needed to avoid budget overspending.Design and implement new sourcing strategies and capabilities as needed.Perform contract audits and spend analysis.Leverage data and analytics to assess the ROI of the marketing budget.Conduct competitive bidding and RFP processes.Negotiate commercial agreements.Implement SRM and stakeholder management to ensure continuous improvement.Ensure transparency and governance of procurement processes and corporate policies.Strengthen ability to communicate the value of Procurement to internal stakeholders across functions.Regular interaction with Brand Managers.Advise senior stakeholders on new procurement strategies to create lasting ROI.Collaborate directly with leaders in Marketing, HR, IT, Legal and other areas.Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and supplier performance.Lead initiatives to integrate ESG goals into marketing procurement strategies.Drive innovation by sourcing new and emerging marketing technologies and services.Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.5+ years of Procurement experience in
Indirect Procurement functions.2+ years of experience in developing category strategies and strong working knowledge of the
marketing agency environment sourcing
one or more of the following:
Creative, Insights, Media, Business Service s etc.Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (strategic sourcing management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.)Results oriented individual with solid proven track record in delivering value (cost and cash).Strong negotiation, analytical, and influencing skills. Great at building cross-functional relationships with ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization.Ability to creatively solve business problems pragmatically and at speed, working with a high level of independence.Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex business situations clearly. High degree of fluency in written and spoken English is required.

This role is part of the North America Indirects Team reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Manager for Indirects.
