Baker Engineering and Risk Consultants, Inc. BakerRisk is seeking a website marketing specialist to join our growing Marketing and Communications team. This position will need strong analytic knowledge to ensure our website is optimized for SEO and converting visitors to leads. You will be responsible for editing existing web pages, creating new content pages, landing pages and more. This individual needs to be a self-motivated team player who is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and manage multiple concurrent projects. Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities Website management: responsible for web design and development activities. This includes supporting the web needs of team members in marketing and business development. Researches, modifies and creates website content. Reviews content for accuracy and quality of information. Maintains competitive analysis of other sites and advises on opportunities for further enhancement and development of web pages. Provides input on how best to translate copy and graphics direction from other media to the website. Responsible for achieving uniformity of information and graphic standards per specified branding goals. Ability to make changes/additions/corrections to existing pages on a daily basis. Troubleshoots potential marketing and web page problems. Develops required project reports. SEO: manage and execute sitewide SEO, e.g., define global and local keywords, improve search performance, optimize landing pages, expand sources of traffic by using local search engines, and plan & deliver link-building strategies. Analysis: monitor sites on a daily, weekly, & monthly basis and ensure channels are achieving targets with Google Analytics HubSpot or similar analytic reporting software Input and familiarity with running key paid channel execution (Google Ads and social ads), ad creative, performance, and budget. Stakeholder Management: cross-team collaboration, working closely with the marketing and content teams to educate and provide guidance for SEO optimization for landing pages, blogs, videos, social media, and PR. Research; produce competitor analysis, insights, and benchmarking. ROI: establish KPIs for your activities while continuously tracking performance with post-campaign analysis and reporting. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Relevant Experience Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent work experience At least 5 years of experience designing and creating WordPress-based websites Understanding of web development languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of reporting with Google Analytics, HubSpot, or comparable analytic reporting software Ability to be proactive about improvements our site may need Delivering successful SEO strategies, specifically in driving sales in a B2B tech environment Solid knowledge of organic search trends, including search engine algorithm changes and the latest tools and technologies Proven ability to be effective in fast-paced environment, comfortable with multi-tasking, technology, and possesses and seeks an ever-increasing global and cultural awareness. A solid understanding of how search fits into the overall marketing mix A proven track record of providing ROI and achieving targets Highly numerate and analytical. Demonstrable track record of achievement in revenue and lead generation through SEO and PPC A planner, able to prioritize a changing task-set effectively.
