Position Summary:
The Laborer/Groundman position is an entry-level position in the construction, maintenance and repair of foundations for primarily distribution, transmission & substation systems.

Essential Functions:
Able to perform heavy physical labor including excavation and concrete workWorks as part of a crew-teamworkAssist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by supervisor, crew leader, foreman, etc.Operate construction equipmentHandle physically demanding construction dutiesOther Requirements:
Able to read and communicate effectively in English.Work is performed outside and includes exposure to extreme cold, heat inclement weather & noise.Willing to work in various locations across the state/country and for extended periods, when required.Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies.CDL is not required but a plus; Valid Driver's license requiredWilling to submit and pass a pre-employment drug screenAbility to perform all assigned tasks in a safe and effective mannerAbility to understand and communicate information and work in a team environmentAble to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, climb and reachAble to lift, carry and place heavy objectsMust have acceptable MVRWe participate in E-VerifyRequired Physical Demands:
