Certified Welding inspector/UT Specialist

Job DescriptionJob Title: Welding InspectorSalary Range: $28.00 to $35.00 per hourJob Description:Brunswick Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Welding Inspector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing visual inspections of welded connections on various construction projects, conducting Ultrasonic Testing of welds as per Building Code, Project, and AWS specifications, and executing fabrication shop inspections.Responsibilities:Review construction project documents, including material submittals, construction drawings, and shop drawings.Verify welding personnel certifications and plant and personnel certifications.Conduct visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with project details regarding size and location.Verify and inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercutting, etc.Perform Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, or Liquid Dye Penetrant testing as required.Communicate inspection results verbally and in writing using CTL reporting programs.Qualifications:AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification with D1.1 experience.Experience in performing ultrasonic, magnetic particle, or liquid dye penetrant testing.Ability to review and understand construction documents.Job Requirements:Wearing proper PPE, including fall protection equipment.Mobility, including the ability to walk on structural steel members and navigate construction sites.If you feel you have the above qualifications, please apply for immediate consideration.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, protected veteran status or any other protected status under the law.EverStaff is an equal opportunity employer (M/F/D/V/SO/GI)
