PrideStaff is currently seeking POWDER COATERS
for a manufacturing client located in the University Park area.
Previous experience is a PLUS, but not required. Client is willing to train!
1st shift = 6:30AM - 3:00PM$15.75 PER HOUR
Job Description:
Powder coat all products, including operating the high-volume powder line, batch powder line, and cleaning, drying, powdering, and curing elements of both.
Typical Duties:
Operate manual powder coating guns to apply powder to a wide range of products at a consistent and correct thickness and quality levelSet-up, proper operation, and maintenance and cleaning of powder application and peripheral equipmentOperate all aspects of the high-volume powder line including the 3-stage washer, dry-off oven, powder booths, and cure ovenOperate all aspects of the Batch Powder Line including the washer, dry-off chamber, powder booth, and cure ovenOther duties and responsibilities as assignedMinimum Requirements:
Basic reading, writing, and math skills requiredKnowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery related to the powder coating processExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skillsMUST have steel-toe boots or shoesAbility to work OT and Saturdays as neededAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
