Senior Director of IT

An emerging biotech company in Massachusetts is looking to an experienced IT professional to their team as their new Senior Director of IT. In this role, the Senior Director of IT will have broad responsibility for IT strategy, planning, end user services, infrastructure (with a cloud-first mentality), cyber security, and business applications.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Director of IT will:Develop, manage, and evolve IT strategyAssess and develop a 5 year IT roadmap for the enterprise, including all application and infrastructure supporting the growth of the businessOversee annual IT budgeting and quarterly forecasting through portfolio prioritization, sourcing planning, financial planning, technical strategies and roadmap developmentOversee IT supplier selection, sourcing and vendor managementManage vendor relationships, vendor/platform technology selection and overall supplier performance (KPIs) & reportingServe as a business partner to the CFO and the executive team on all matters related to IT and provide advice and input to drive forward the Corporate StrategyProvide leadership, mentorship and coaching to direct reports that fosters an environment of problem solving and improved IT practices and attracts and retains IT talentEnsure deployment readiness through development of business continuity plans and performance of external system auditsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
10+ years of experience in the Biotech and/or Pharma industryBachelor's DegreeExperience managing IT in a regulated environment (e.g. SOX, GxP, GDPR, etc.)Solid experience negotiating IT Based contracts, including licensing, terms, key performance indicators, etc.Experience configuring and managing IT Based solutions including but not limited to Azure, Microsoft O365, Intune/Autopilot, Teams/SharePoint, Egnyte, KnowBe4 and PowerBIExperience administering and managing business-based solutions, including but not limited to Concur, Sage (Intacct Financials), Veeva Vault, Veeva CRMBroad experience with applications initiatives, including; ERP upgrades, implementation, and solution deliveryDesired Skills:
3+ years of experience in a Senior IT role at a Biotech companyBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
