Marathon is a Registered Investment Adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission.For more information, please visit the companys website at www.marathonfund.com.Responsibilities:Planning, coordination, preparation/review and timely reporting of:Audited financial statements (Funds and SPVs) in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and other standardsRegulatory reporting and filing including SEC Form PF and Annex IVFund NAVs, profit allocation, expense analysis and portfolio PNLFund launch and Investor onboardingFAnalyze, review and recommend accounting policies within fixed incomeReport, and collaborate with Senior members of the team regarding accounting treatment for various investments and strategiesMaintain appropriate supporting documentation and an effective internal control environment.Prepare external and internal reporting including, assets under management, weekly and monthly performance estimatesOther financial related reportingThe role will work with compliance and operations teams and will include assisting on special projects.Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting with a CPA10+ years experience in the finance industryA solid understanding of US GAAP for investment companiesWorking knowledge of financial products, especially fixed income and derivativesExcellent communication skills, disciplined and a responsible personality.High energy level and strong work ethicProficient knowledge of MS ExcelStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPrior experience with regulatory reporting a plusThe average salary for this role $150,000 - $200.000 in base pay and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data.
