Financial Reporting Accountant (remote)

A healthcare company in Florida is currently seeking a new Accountant for a promising Senior AND Remote opportunity with their Financial Reporting team. In this role, the Senior Accountant (Remote) will be responsible for producing accurate and timely internal financial statements, accounting reports, and supporting schedules.
Responsibilities:The Senior Accountant (Remote) - Financial Reporting will:Prepare internal financial reports (Consolidated Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss) with supporting schedules for management reviewPrepare and record journal entries, ensuring accurate account reconciliationsMaintain and enhance financial systems and reporting mechanisms (including SAP, Excel, and Power BI) to optimize efficiency and data accuracyParticipate in month end, quarter end and year end closingsCollaborate effectively with team members across different departments and external stakeholdersAdhere to internal controls and best practices, contributing to a strong control environmentCompile and provide supporting documentation for internal and external auditsAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataProactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiencyBuild strong working relationships with corporate and segment teamsQualifications:
2+ years of related work experienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or other Business-related fieldSolid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficiency in ExcelStrong analytical, reporting and review skillsDesired Skills:
Experience with Power BI
