Overview
The
Event Staff
primary function is to use knowledge of the building and its services to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the building patrons entering the facility.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $10 to $15.00.
For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.job expires 12/31/2024ResponsibilitiesFoster a positive and enjoyable environment with positive attitude for all guests attending an eventResponsibilities may include ticket scanning, ticket taking, partial security screening, guest questions, responding to incidents on venue property, directing guests to seating locations, etcEnsure all guests are following venue, act, or promoter specific rules and regulationsProvide assistance to patrons with special needs or wheelchair accessDirect guests in a variety of situations including emergenciesMonitor and report any potential unsafe situations to direct supervisorHelp artists toHand out flyers or other promotional itemsFind opportunities to improve the guest experiencePerform other duties as assigned
QualificationsEmployee must be at least 18 years oldHigh School diploma or GED (or any equivalent combination of education and experience)Prior customer service experience is preferredAccess to reliable transportationMust be able to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays dependent on events scheduleStand and walk for four to six hours at a timeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCan communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingMust be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast paced environment
