Objective:NBHS seeks a Lead Colorguard Instructor to lead and inspire our students and staff. Through strong leadership, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills, this candidate will foster a positive environment for all participants.Responsibilities:
Assist with leading the summer Marching Band Camp and Fall Season.Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement.Design all equipment and body work for the colorguard as it connects to the show concepts for the fall and winter competition seasons.Instruct and develop all necessary equipment or body techniques needed by members of the colorguard.Implement the visual techniques in collaboration with the Lead Visual Instructor.Secure all necessary equipment and materials for rehearsals and performances.Maintain and secure equipment and materials for rehearsals and performances such as poles, silks, rifles, sabers, etc.Establish a positive rapport with students and families.Participate in concerts, marching band competitions, football games, parades, and other community events as needed throughout the school year.Flexible schedule including working holidays.Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal, Director of Fine Arts, or CDAM - Arts.Position Type:

Qualifications:Experience designing equipment and body work for colorguard including flag, rifle, sabers, and dance. Works collaboratively with staff and students.Terms:Reports to: NBHS Principal, Director of Fine Arts, CDAM - Arts.Location: NBHS.Dates: July 24, 2022 - June 30, 2024.Rate: $4,000.Citizenship, residency or work visa required.Contact Information
