The Associate Brand Manager performs traditional brand management responsibilities such as supporting brand planning, managing marketing campaigns, partnering with agencies and vendors, and collaborating with Sales and Production teams at The Duckhorn Portfolio. The Associate Brand Manager will work in conjunction with the Company’s Marketing team, and with cross-functional partners around the winery.What we will ask you to do:

Support the development of the annual strategic plan and ongoing brand performance for Decoy & Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards by analyzing product, category, consumer and market dynamics to generate demand and drive brand growth.Partner with Brand Manager to develop and execute communication strategies and tactical plans (paid and organic) across all brand channels, including PR, social, digital, email, and events.Develop target consumer profiles and monitor consumer trends to inform innovation opportunities.Assist in management of all aspects of the marketing mix including product positioning, packaging, pricing and promotion, and distribution strategy.Collaborate with agencies and external partners in developing campaigns and creative execution that support brand strategy.Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Direct-to-Consumer teams to inform channel strategies and ensure on-brand execution.What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.5 years of hands-on wine marketing experience with a commercially successful wine brand(s).Proven track record of success supporting brand and channel planning, POS management, digital marketing, social media, advertising and PR, events development and management, package design, sales forecasting and data analysis.Thorough understanding of the wine industry, including the three-tier distribution system, sales channel intricacies, competitive landscape and market trends.Passion for wine and food, an inquisitive palate and some viticulture and wine production knowledge, as well as experience interacting with savvy wine consumers and trade.Strong financial, business, accounting, math acumen, quantitative analytical and problem solving skills.What we will provide:
