Group Product Design Manager - Banking

We’re looking for a Design Manager for our Banking Group to define product strategy, support execution in product teams, and help designers grow. You’ll be a key part of a team whose work is massively impactful to the core of our product.In this role, you’ll:Understand our product, business, brand, and processes inside and out.Deeply understand the Banking Product space and work with the executive team and cross-functional partners to shape strategy.Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and empower your teams.Support team growth through coaching and mentorship.Foster a collaborative team environment.Document and evangelize effective processes.Create a comfortable environment for feedback.Assist in hiring great talent.Some relevant skills that can help:Experience in Fintech or regulated industries.Leadership experience of 8 years or more.Ability to manage execution and enable high-quality work.Experience in driving strategy for product groups.Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.Mentorship experience for designers.Awareness of design trends.Ability to provide constructive feedback.Experience driving design team processes.The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits. Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are:US employees: $212,500 - $250,000Canadian employees: CAD 193,400 - 227,500
